This Is Endometriosis was created out of a desperation for validation, representation and accurate education of the disease and those who fight it. The project began in 2017 as a photographic series while I was bed bound from the pain, and has since grown to a body of work that has been published and exhibited in institutions such as The Washington Post, Financial Times Magazine, The Guardian, Forbes, The Independent, Creative Review, British Journal of Photography, Saatchi Gallery curated by Delphian Gallery, The National Portrait Gallery, The Wellcome Photography Prize Exhibit and on billboards across the UK with Artichoke Trust.

Following the success of the series, I found an incredible team of other creatives including Matt Houghton, Harriette Wright and Lauren Frankfort Meltzer, and together we made the This Is Endometriosis film which won Best British Short at the BAFTA’s this year.

Since the beginning of the project until today, the work has picked up international press and interview features, including BBC News, BBC Breakfast, Times Radio, NBC News, Today Show, CNN Arabic, The Washington Post, The Independent, The Guardian, Forbes, FT Weekend Magazine, Grazia, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Glamour, BBC Science Focus, Der Spiegel, Le Figaro, L’Obs and many more.
